We have a Hardi-Plank (I think it is a look-alike -- same stuff, different brand) and we got factory painted surfaces. The colors chosen were too light for the tastes of many of us and they have also faded, making them even lighter. When you patch up spots, which is inevitable, the patches show for a long time. They are supposed to fade to the same color as the planks. I'm still waiting, but I also have very sensitive color perception. Another thing to consider is fire insurance - which is more flammable and does you company care?
