I know many people advise this but I'm on the other end. Business meetings
are about business. That doesn't mean they have to be grim or stomach
wrenching but I go to meetings with focused discussion and active decision
making. If people don¹t want to attend business meetings, I'm not sure why
they should as long as they agree to abide by the decisions made.

I wouldn't like to be required to attend parties anymore than "they" like to
attend business meetings.

Puppet making is fun and drama is a good way to work out feelings, but they
are not business meetings. I find the mix to end up being neither productive
or interesting.
