We (Stone Curves Cohousing in Tucson, AZ), just completed our color selections. We hoped to do this ourselves and worked for many months in a team. Brought the selections many times to the community to look at and give input. Finally in the last meeting of a three meeting process to reach consensus the palette was red carded by several members who didn't like one of the colors. Another member (who has since left the community) volunteered to chair a new team and this attempt was thwarted also. We finally went to a color consultant with the understanding that the community would consense on one of the choices she gave us. And so it was. I would suggest going the way of the color consultant from the beginning. It was costly for us but in the end was the right way to go.
