Dear Mark:
       Many banquet halls have round tables. The tops are made from plywood 
which is not finished or coated. Attached underneath are metal legs that fold. 
As someone said on the discussion, these table are easy to move because one 
can roll them.

       I like the idea overall -it seems functional and the price is right. 
We have some people here at Common Pastures who are experienced woodworkers. 
So, how do you think you can create a more finished look to the top? Avoid 
Plywood? Add stain and finish coats? Your input will help us out.
