Andrew,
In an unrelated field - that of writing code and programming for a railroad simulator - exactly the same thing occured. For the railroad simulator there is a conspicuous lack of available programming documentation, but there exists a large but very fragmented body of knowledge in the hands of a substantial number of railroad simulator enthusiasts. A proposal was made to make a wiki compendium of this knowledge. Many hailed the idea as great - but nobody contributed. Is there something cyber-sociological here (to coin a word)? Does sharing with a person provide some reward that sharing with a faceless wiki does not?

Subject: [C-L]_ Document Library: zero response! (was "call for MembershipPolicies")

Hello,

Since my call for Membership Policies for the CohoWiki Document
Library (http://wiki.cohousing.org/index.php?title=Document_Library)
just over a week ago, I have had exactly zero responses to my request.
The wiki has also remained unaltered from when I last touched it. No
Membership Policies have been submitted, either through me or directly
to the CohoWiki. I am somewhat disappointed by this result, and would
like to put for the question: WHY has there been no response?
