Perhaps my first call should be for people with the authority to
publicize their community's documents contact me directly, in order to
determine whether they are willing to share their documents, and under
what conditions.

I may be enthusiastic, but the thought of trying to contact each
community individually is quite frankly overwhelming.  I have no
problem being the go-to guy to get the Document Library up and
running, but if I'm going to have to pull documents out of groups,
instead of having groups push their documents to me, I would have to
talk to Coho/US and the CCN (and whatever other national cohousing
organizations exist out there) about taking that role on.

Let's see what others have to say.
