I'm a HUGE drupal fan (cohousing.org is a drupal site), and I really don't like the calendering modules, though i have to say that i haven't played extensively with them in 6.0 or higher. We do embedded google calendars within drupal both in my community and for cohousing group events on the cohousing.org site. A handful of public examples: https://www.cohousing.org/tours_events http://www.mosaic-commons.org/calendar http://sawyerhill.org/calendar http://www.mosaic-commons.org/ - email event alerts (yes, if people are invited to the events and accept) - multiple logins (yes) - Anyone (with an account) should be able to add an event. (yes) - People should be able only to edit their own events unless they are an admin-level user. (no) - Multiple calendars (or one calendar with different types of events, or tags, or something... anything that lets us use different colors). (yes) - Resource (a room or a projector, for example) allocation. (we do this with a separate calendar for the resource) - Ideally integrates into either Wordpress or Drupal.
