I can't say a great deal about people who "place a high value on privacy and 
anonymity", but I can say that cohousing can be a great choice for people with 
a preference for Intro(a)version.

Extraversion and Intraversion have to do with where people get their energy.  
You can be a shy extravert (yes it's true and I am one).

It is true that people with a preference for Intraversion need more time alone 
to recharge, while extraverts get a great deal of their energy from being with 
other people.    In cohousing, however, it from what I have seen and heard, it 
seems (and it makes sense to me based on other experience I have with Type) 
that most intraverts are delightfully surprised to find that the size of the 
cohousing neighborhood fits well with their ideal group of people with whom 
they relate regularly.

and remember, Type can provide an explanation, but never an excuse.
