Coho/US and SageHill Cohousing welcome proposals to leads sessions at our upcoming conference: *Aging Better Together: The Power of Community <http://www.cohousing.org/2016aging>* May 20 – 21, 2016 The University of Utah Guest House and Conference Center, Salt Lake City, Utah Submit proposals to lead conference sessions here. <http://www.cohousing.org/2016aging/submit> Call Deadline: December 20, 2015 *Conference Goals:* We are producing a two-day information packed conference on aging in community and the cohousing model. In answer to the nations “elder boom,” our goal is to fuel a nationwide development of senior friendly cohousing communities that support successful aging in both adult-focused and intergenerational communities. We also aim to spark conversations about aging within our existing communities, and share community programs that demonstrate healthy, vibrant aging. *Target Audience*: 300+ • Individuals and organizations exploring the cohousing model • Forming groups • Existing cohousing communities • Developers • Policy Makers *Conference Format*: Our conference will include keynote presentations, general sessions, two concurrent breakout tracks, networking events and exhibits to promote the exchange of information and resources among attendees and cohousing leaders and professionals, aging and care experts, leaders in conscious eldering, lenders and policy makers who understand that successful aging is as much about purposeful living and caring about the wellbeing of our neighbors as it is about the process of building beautiful architecture, universal design and sustainability. *General Sessions* (45-60 min) • Topics of interest to all attendees *Breakout Sessions* (60-90 min) • Track 1 = Empowering New Communities • Track 2 = Enhancing Existing Communities In crafting your presentation proposal, we encourage you to consider our conference theme as well as the needs and interests of our target audience and supporting organizations.
