What I think is a great find is the uniform condominium bylaws. It was written by the Uniform Law Commission. The Uniform Law Commission (ULC, also known as the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws), established in 1892, provides states with non-partisan, well-conceived and well-drafted legislation that brings clarity and stability to critical areas of state statutory law. ULC members must be lawyers, qualified to practice law. They are practicing lawyers, judges, legislators and legislative staff and law professors, who have been appointed by state governments as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands to research, draft and promote enactment of uniform state laws in areas of state law where uniformity is desirable and practical. A very complete document for common interest ownership dwellings which includes condominiums and cooperatives. In plain language. http://www.uniformlaws.org/Act.aspx?title=Common%20Interest%20Ownership%20Act%20(2008) Sharon ---- Sharon Villines Sociocracy: A Deeper Democracy http://www.sociocracy.info
