Ann, thanks for putting words to what's alive for me in acknowledging Alice
and wishing her well on her next adventure.  From someone who plays in the
outer circles of CohoUS, I've admired Alice and her work.  I met her briefly
at the conference in Durham, I've appreciated many different aspect of her
leadership and I feel as if I have a friend at the core of our organization.


 

Alice, with you at the helm I'm proud to be a part of the cohousing
movement.  Hugs and blessings to you!

Hello all ?

 

Unless you?ve been living on an island with no internet service, you know
that Alice Alexander, current Ex. Director of CohoUS is ? retiring.

 

Ii was asked to ?say a few words? about Alice at the lunch on Saturday.
Alice didn?t want any kind of a fuss.  Just a few words ?

 

Well.

 

Heh. Heh.

 

It?s impossible to say just ?a few words? about Alice.

 

Herewith are the words I used ? if you read vertically down the page you
will see the first letter of each word easily spells out Alice Alexander.

 

Awesome ? inspiring awe, admiration or wonder

 

Likeable ? readily or easily liked; pleasing

 

Ingenious ? inventiveness and skill

 

Creative ? originality of thought/expression

 

Extraordinary ? beyond what is usual or ordinary

 

 

 

Abounding ? existing in abundance.  Too much Alice is never enough.

 

Laudable ? praiseworthy, commendable

 

Enjoyable ? giving or capable of giving joy

Amiable ? having good natured personal qualities; affable

 

Noetic ? requiring the use of the mind
