Alan, I would love to see how Gather could play a role in retrofit projects
like this. Good software (meal planning, resource booking, work
coordination, info storage, etc.) might be able to fill in some of the
blanks left by the lack of a purpose-built common house. Very intriguing.
Do keep us abreast of whether anyone takes you up on your offer!
