Hi Cohousers,

I'm writing to let you know about a series of Virtual Roundtables focused
on building bridges between cohousing and the affordable housing,
sustainability, and diversity and inclusion movements. *Bridges to
Cohousing* will be every other Tuesday afternoon on zoom starting tomorrow
7/12 through 8/9 from 1-3pm PT, 2-4pm MT, 3-5pm CT, 4-6pm ET.

This is an opportunity for us to make new strategic connections, share
about innovative trends we are tracking, and grow these movements. It will
be a great platform for your voice to be part of this conversation as the
recording/event outcomes will be made available to thousands in the CohoUS
network.

Visit tinyurl.com/cohobridges to learn more.

Below is a schedule of the events based on impact areas. Each event will
begin with case-studies from movement leaders followed by a discussion
where you will be able to ask questions and share input about what's
possible for increasing cohousing and its impacts.

   - BRIDGES TO COHOUSING: HOUSING THAT’S FAIR – JULY 12
Exploring Cohousing Affordability featuring Jim Leach, Katie McCamant,
   Eve Stewart + more
   - BRIDGES TO COHOUSING: HOUSING THAT’S GREEN – JULY 26
Exploring Sustainability and development featuring Erik Bonnett, Sky
   Blue, Mike Wird + more
   - BRIDGES TO COHOUSING: HOUSING THAT CARES – AUGUST 9
Exploring DEI in Cohousing featuring Crystal Byrd Farmer, Pedro Silva +
   more speakers TBA

*The goals of the series include: *

   - Building bridges with stakeholders outside of our existing CohoUS
audience to expand awareness of cohousing and how it relates to shared
   impact areas
   - To share case studies that reflect trends in each of the impact areas
during part 1 of the events
   - To engage participants in reflecting on the impacts/trends and offer a
discussion during part 2 of the events that will start with
questions/comments to the presenters and then shift into a discussion of
all participants that will either be one large group (if its a small
turnout) or breakout groups with a report back (if larger turnout)
   - To be inclusive of diverse viewpoints, and get a pulse for where
things are/what's possible for the movement moving forward -- somewhat of a
brainstorming/think tank model where it's expected to leave with more ideas
   and questions than definitive outcomes
   - To begin/continue identifying strategies for expanding cohousing and
its impacts that we will document and build off of in future media/events -
including having the event recorded and added to our online database

This event series is free for CohoUS partners, $15 for others, and
scholarships available for those in need.

Please pass this on to others you think would be interested, and reach out
to me with any questions/input about this Series.
