Cohousing-L Mailing List: Helping Hands group

Hello!

I am a member of a nascent work team in a cohousing community that is about
to move into our new home, whose purpose is to coordinate various kinds of
help for different community members in need. For example, rides to
appointments; periodic childcare; providing meals for people with
situations ranging from grieving, to recovering from surgery, to having
just had a baby. We started with the name Good Neighbors, although we are
now thinking of calling ourselves Helping Hands. We are curious about what
other cohousing groups have come up with in this regard, and how it has
worked (or not worked) for you.
