Bryan Bowen <bryan [at] caddispc.com> is the author of the message below. It was posted by Fred of the Cohousing-L management team <cohousing-l-owner [at] cohousing.org> after putting the report at l.cohousing.org/bartholemew-resales.pdf This listserv does not distribute attachments, for rationale and alternatives, see: http://justcomm.org/jc-faq.htm#Q10 -------------------- FORWARDED MESSAGE FOLLOWS -------------------- Lee Batholemew did this report for Katie a decade ago, supporting the anecdotal perception that cohousing resells well. At Wild Sage, here in Boulder, it's our impression that cohousing units typically (not always) sell fast and for a good price/sf (which is also skewed because of amenities that are not in the sf of your unit contributing to the value). It's pretty much impossible to get real comps because there usually aren't a ton of cohousing units reselling in a distinct market over a short enough period of time. - b BRYAN BOWEN | PRINCIPAL | AIA | LEED AP *caddis collaborative* 1521 Easy Rider Lane #102 Boulder, CO 80304 303 443 3629 caddispc.com
