Hi Zev, Here at Heartwood we have had the same problem. For 20 years we were able to have enough participation to have two common meal and a potluck a week. Now we are down to one common meal and a potluck ( which is often poorly attended compared to pre-Covid) I am baffled as to why. The only thing I can come up with is 1. People are older now and Covid took a lot out of them. People are tired. And because we have more older members they are more concerned about getting Covid, still. 2. A couple households moved in during Covid and never participated in the meals even after Covid was “over”. Those are the only things I could come up with. I will be interested to hear if other communities are experiencing the same thing. We used to have 25-30 people coming to meals now it’s more like 15-20.
