Takoma Village did the same thing for years. One advantage was that we found a 
traditional English nanny whom the parents hired for meetings but at least two 
parents also hired for the afternoon so there were  at least 3 children in that 
cluster.

Then we had a period of few or no young children and things changed. And now 
everything seems to be on a "let’s try this basis” so I’m not sure anyone could 
say what we are doing at the moment.
