Our community is looking at developing a Zero Tolerance policy with Escalating Steps. We have one member who can become very threatening when triggered and the multiple times our Culture Team has met with him over the years have not worked to deescalate his reactions, hence some community members do not feel safe.
I've looked at past posts to the list-serve, mainly on conflict, and read multiple articles from Communities magazine.
I'm interested in what experience other communities have had with a Zero Tolerance policy and if any community that has one would be willing to share their policy?
Doing a Google search on Zero Tolerance policies they seem to be mainly used by schools and in the work place with varying results- sometimes detrimental. Hence, I'm interested in people's community experience and the policy you have.
