I don't know if I can help other than to share some of things we have done.

I live in a 55+ manufactured home community, mostly solo agers in our 70s,
80s, and 90s. I also belong to other groups addressing Death & Dying. They
overlap.

We have had an end-of-life series of classes that address everything from
advanced directives to writing our own memorial and obituary. In my
opinion, Compassionate Choices has the best resources.

We use various techniques for discussion, such as Go Wish Cards

We have done Legacy Writing

I would imagine that some among you have had experiece helping loved ones.
Let them share what they have learned.

Death Doulas sometimes are useful to facilitate discussions and offer
services.

I find that helping others at end of life has to start before end of life.

PDX Commons, a senior cohousing community, would like help to become
prepared to support our members before, during and after the death of
resident.  To date, we haven't experienced anyone dying here.

Pease share resources, what worked and didn't with us.
