Cohousing-L Mailing List: Examples of Co-Housing and Lodging Business co-existing

Hello!

Can anyone point me in the direction of examples of projects that include a
co housing community of some kind and a business operating on the same land
(preferably a lodging/camping/glamping/hospitality business)

My wife and I recently acquired a beautiful 225 acre property in Western
Maine and the sky is the limit. We have always had two dreams: 1. start and
operate a small lodging business for people to come and stay and enjoy the
land, and 2. own land in common with a community in the form of co housing.

I don't think these two activities are mutually exclusive, but to build
both will take delicate planning, communication, and intention. So I'm
curious how others have done it.
