Cohousing-L Mailing List: policies or practical experience regarding security cameras and privacy

Greetings:

Does anyone's community have a policy or practical experience regarding 
security cameras installed by individual members?  My community, 
Greyrock Cohousing is having a conversation involving some members 
desiring cameras pointing at their own porches and doors and other 
members not wanting to be recorded especially with concerns of cloud 
storage of data and AI, "law enforcement" agency's and others "access" 
of those files.

A search showed that David Stack asked this question a few years ago but 
didn't get much response.  I am wanting to see if anything has happened 
since then.
