Hi all,

My name is Noah and I'm involved with the Berkeley Moshav cohousing
community here in Berkeley. We're just about to finish building it (move-in
this fall!).

While we were building, the person who sold us our land offered us another
parcel across the street, hoping to see more community-led projects in the
area. A few of us from moshav banded together, pooled our money, and took
her offer. The idea has been to "crowd in" more cooperative and
values-aligned community in the same neighborhood, and to keep the lot from
falling to a traditional developer.

Since we're almost done with our own community, we can't build anything
there ourselves. But we'd love to carry the torch forward by partnering
with someone who can. We're just community members who pooled our money and
took a chance on this. Mostly we're looking for a good community partner
with the capacity and resources to crowd in something community-oriented in
this special space.

If you or someone you know would be interested in building something
community-oriented, there's more at www.2400sanpablo.org. Happy to field
any questions.

Noah
