Thinking back, I don't remember all that much discussion of sexual issues in the cohousing group that I was going to move into at all. And yet to me that seems to be an important undercurrent in any community -- people need to at least have compatible if not similar sexual mores. I know that in the community I was involved with there are now several teenagers whose emerging sexuality may now bring at least part of that matter out in the open. But the question of teenagers is a very specific one. The problems of lovers taken in or out of the group has already been raised... what about differing sexual practices? My experiences with the West Seattle group were that sexual orientation was not a problem at all -- but how about, say, non-monogamy?
