Back when we used to rotate community dinner among our houses we did a monthly sign up sheet, which was posted at our meetings and people selected the days of the month they would host dinner. We had 3 slots for each dinner which were cook, who bought the food, and prepared it, set up who gathered the tables and chairs and set them up, and clean up who put the tables and chairs away and helped clean up from cooking. As I recall if you participated you were expected to cook once and either setup or clean up twice a month. We ended up only rotating among 4 of the houses, which were large enough to hold us all and so if it were my turn to cook I would either make arrangements with the house where dinner was to cook in their kitchen (this seldom happened) or I made food at my house and brought it to the house where we were eating. Currently we are using the basement of a house as our common eating place while our commonhouse is under construction. Rob Sandelin Sharingwood.
