Cohousing-L Mailing List: Profiles of list participants

Harry's request that people identify themselves a bit when they post here
gives me an idea. Fred, could you or another volunteer put together a little
"directory" of those on the list who would be willing to tell you a little
about themselves for everyone to see?

I'd like to know what part of the country people are posting from, what
cohousing group they are in (if any), if they already living in a coho
community, and whether their interest is professional or personal or both, a
few personal notes and s'mother stuff like that. I'll take a crack at writing
a profile for myself and see if it inspires anyone to put together a
"directory" of those on this list who would like to participate. Seems to me
we could help each other even more if we knew more about one another. Here
goes:

My name is Joani Blank. I am a currently single woman in my mid fifties. I am
the founder of Good Vibrations, San Francisco's  sex toy and book store and
mail order service. I live in the Doyle Street CoHousing Community in
Emeryville, CA. Emeryville is just at the east end of the Bay Bridge which
goes from SF to Berkeley/Oakland.  We are a small (12 units) urban community
living in a renovated industrial building. Seventeen adults ranging in age
from 31 to 70 live here with four children (9 mo. to 5 yrs), one teenager,
one dog and several cats. We share three meals a week and have one

I hope that someone will take on this project, collect profiles and post the
whole directory at once, or perhaps email or send it only to those who
request it so as not to clutter up the list.I wish I had the leisure to
volunteer.
