I have been a lurker for quite a while on cohousing-l.  However, I couldn't 
resist noting that there may be a simpler method that others could follow 
to indicate who they are, namely encourage all new subscribers to set up a 
World Wide Web home page.  Mine has the url
            http://dragon.labmed.umn.edu/~gene/
Would be interesting if most others had a home page as well!  No need for 
archiving other than a simple list of names and url's.
