This is an announcement for cohousing-l subscribers in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. My apologies to overburdened readers elsewhere. Pioneer Valley Cohousing: The Inside Story with Mary Kraus Friday, June 9, 7:00 PM Albany Community Center 1249 Marin Avenue at Masonic Albany, CA (next to Berkeley) Mary Kraus, Pioneer Valley resident and one of the project architects, will tell how 32 households came together and built this community in Amherst, Massachusetts. Mary will focus on the tradeoffs considered by the group in developing an affordable, attractive and sustainable community. Light refreshments will be served; $5 donation requested.
