Kevin, (Whom I have never met but who feels like an old chum) Said. >Do people regularly give two hour tours and talks about their community? >Yikes, if this is the standard, I'd change it. So I changed the title of the thread to make finding this easier and also to ask others: What kind of energy do you expend on tours? At Sharingwood, this is a huge variable depending on the peoples vibe. As a "tour veteran" I find that I put energy into a tour depending upon what sorts of vibes I get back. Some folks get 20 minutes, others get two+ hours, an invite to tea at my house, an invite to dinner, I watch their kids for them, etc. We have 3 folks who do tours regularly. These days I tend to do the "folks visiting from other communities" tours. Just did a tour yesterday for Mary and John of Pioneer Valley. Rob Sandelin Sharingwood Sharingwood.
