On June 7th Rob asked: "What kind of energy do you expend on tours?" At Nyland we have a tour the last Sunday of each month at 11 a.m. with folks meeting at the common house. We show a video and have a short introductory talk and then walk around. I am the contact person and there are three of us who rotate running these tours. We also set up special tours for the media, classes ranging from elementary to university, and interested groups. We always include walking through one or two houses. The regularly scheduled tours usually last about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Many of us give informal tours for our own contacts. It seems that right now tours are managed in a way that work OK for the community. Lu A.
