David

The information I posted here, on many of the proven (by scientific research)
criteria of neighborhoods and home designs that ENCOURAGE good "social
networking", came from 30 or more years of RESEARCH carried out (in the
western world) by Jan Gehl and others.

These ideas did not come from personal viewpoints- but from scientific
research.
Whether you wish to believe this information or not is irrelevant-what is
relevant is that this proven information exists- I am simply providing some
info, with the expectation that interested people will pursue further
research- so as not to become guineau pigs as they plan and build their
homes, shared facilities and neighborhoods.

So David:
- What proportion of homes built in the western world do you have sloping
roofs?
- What research do you have to show us that roofs over verandas only are
there because of rain?
- What scientific researchers (not authors-scientific researchers), in this
field can you point out to me, so that I and others can phone them in order
to keep out of "Deep Trouble"? Any scientific papers for me to read to keep
me and others out of "Deep Trouble"?

Have you ever read a book entitled "100,000,000 Guineaus Pigs"?
It's quite apropo to this situation.
