Gee.  I've been on this list for at least a year now and I've never 
posted a bio (though I'm not always that quiet!).  So here it is....

Name: Catherine Kehl  
Birthdate:  3/6/73
Marital status:  Ah...  I'll probably be handfasted before the end of the 
year (if we can get that organised).
 
Family (children, pets, etc):  Mother, bother and sister at Puget Ridge 
Co-housing.  (I'm not, but it was a near thing.)  Craig, the guy, and a 
cat called Cu Chulain.  (Or "Kooky-boodles if you're kelda).  Various 
fictive kin (too long a list).


Education (where, what): Almost a BA in Chinese Language and Literature 
at the University of Washington.  (I lack five credits which I'm trying 
to appeal...).  I'm thinking of going for an OMD...

Community (if any):  Well, I hang around Puget Ridge.  Nothing else solid.
 
What I do for money:  Houseperson resident herbalist wannabe computer 
geek.  (i.e. I'm unemployed.)
 
What I do for fun:  Hike, forage for wild mushrooms and plants, write, 
sew, play harp, do things in/on large bodies of water, SCA stuff, pagan 
community stuff, computer geek stuff...

Favorite thing about community:  Having people around to eat my food.

Worst thing about community:  Incredible potential for never getting 
anything done.                                                          

If I was in charge, I would:  Make sure there was no densly populated 
area on this planet more than half a mile away from a family planning 
center.  Spread the internet.  Require decent foreign language education 
in public schools.  

or maybe just fund a park for homeless cats.
