I ran into a friend a couple of weeks ago at the local pool. He & his
wife were the one's who gave my wife & I the CoHousing book almost 5 years
ago, so I pretty much blame them for all the trouble I've gotten into over
the last 4 years with EcoVillage at Ithaca. He's also living in Maplewood,
NJ (also temporarily, since we just sold our house to move to Ithaca &
they're trying to sell their's to move down to the Fredericksburg (sp?)
Maryland group)

Anyway, he suggested at the time: If every coho group in the country could
budget $500 for PR we'd have about $100K for a budget. Now, Marty, if you
took that, ran a 3-time combo ad in the Peoria Picayune and a 30-second
spot on WXYZ in Ketchikan, you could walk away with close to $99,900 in
your pocket.

Hey, Jay, did you subscribe here yet?

We could probably generate some noise with that kind of bucks.

To quote everyone who has ever engaged in the process known euphemistically
as "moving" and more accurately as "hell": Packing Sucks!
(just gotta keep remembering why I'm doing it, and that there is an end, at
least until next year when I'll need to do it again...)
