Unfortunately I missed what sounds like a great conference. But I was busy
up here spreading the word about coho.

We got some great coverage about collaborative housing on our National News
- the local station did an eight-minute documentary about coho efforts in
Toronto, which the network picked up and ran nationally the next day. It
also led to three consecutive segements on local morning radio, that
brought a flood of interest and enquiries.

I have put this TV clip (together with another nationally-broadcast spot
from 1992) on a video which is available for $10.

I should point out that this newsclip focuses on the "intentional
neighbourhood" aspect of coho, for example by showing a neighbourhood in
Toronto that tore down its fences to share a garden, etc.

The other clips are of groups that are in either the planning or approval
stages, except for about 45 seconds of Cardiff Place in Victoria BC.
Anyway, I find it a great intro to the concept that opens up a lot of
possibilities beyond just new greenfield construction, and would recommend
it for any group that shares this point of view.
