I wonder if "vanilla" is not as specialized as "mocha choclate chip." All co-housing needs some model for decision making, some menus for dinner, so conventions whereby neighbors relate to each other. Might Roberts Rules of Order, meat and potatoes, and Monday night football be as specialized (and, to many, as outrageous) as concensus, veggies, and dancing? I'm part of a small fledging group near Yakima, WA, which is in the earliest cohousing planning stages. peace
