As you know, I am an advocate for this kind of process if for no other reason
than to support the trend being promoted by Dan and others to make this whole
thing easier and more available to mainstram Americans.

One of the key elements still lacking is a good source of experienced
developer types who are willing to try doing this.  I know several existing
professionals who would be very happy to mentor other professionals who are
curious but don't want to do it all by themselves the first time.
