Glen,
Thank you for your response to my query about foam core panels.  Yesterday I
talked to a local builder who is specializing in building with these.  They
have a condo project going up this week in Napa that would be interesting to
see.  Regarding cost, he said the materials cost a little more, but the labor
is much less, so you come out about the same.  It all depends on your design
tho.

I spoke with our architect (who is also YOUR architect) about it today.  He
is skeptical about the toxic issue, but is willing to learn more.  We may
have a materials "expert" come and talk to our group.  I'll keep you all
posted as I learn more and continue to be interested in any experience or
comments from "out there".

accepted the day before ours was in!!!!  This is very depressing!!
