We chose walking. Thos makes some good points. Blood is thicker than water: Like you, I'd rather live near family. And I'd rather walk to work or telecommute from home. Maybe all those features can be combined? That's what we're planning on. First, we're moving back to Columbus, Ohio to be with family and lifelong friends. Then we'll get involved in an existing cohousing group or help start a new one. Eventually, we want to develop a coho/ecovillage that supports a neighborhood school and a telecenter for telework, teleplay and tele-education. See my homepage for more. By the way, anybody out there live in Columbus? Drop me a line. This list is a godsend to me. My information cup runneth over. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Nelson Scott Phone/Fax: 1-414-966-2902 [company name] Business email: tom.scott [at] veda-home.com W330 N8357 West Shore Drive Academic email: veda [at] csd.uwm.edu Hartland WI 53029-9732 Academic web: http://www.uwm.edu/~veda "Do less, accomplish more." -------------------------------------------------------------------------
