Hi,
We of the second neighborhood at Ecovillage at Ithaca are wanting to move
things along and have made a big committment to recruitment. I have read
an article in an old issue of co-housing mag, good ideas. I would welcome
any other ideas you have, ones that worked for you and some you have
thought of but haven't tried. Any and all are welcome. Please share.
Following is a bit of info about us.
Thanks, Jan

We are seeking members, like minded folks to join in the planning and
creation of a caring, sharing, ecologically sound community. The land
consists of a total of 176 acres with forests, meadows, fields, organic
gardens, a pond, and spectacular views.

EcoVillage at Ithaca has completed it first neighborhood of 30 passive
solar homes and a beautiful common house.

Come work with us to create the second neighborhood. We are working with a
architect experienced in the planning of co-housing communities, and she
lives in one in Massachusets. We also have on board a permaculture advisor
as a landscape designer, and an expert in healthy construction techniques.

We (7 fully financially committed households) are seeking folks who are
interested in sustainability, ecology, and strong sense of community. We
are striving for diversity: cultural, racial, economic, social, etc.

For more info, please see our website, and feel free to contact me for
specific questions.

Regards, Jan (jrg14 [at] cornell.edu)
