Hi Cohousers- I posted something like this a few weeks ago, before leaving for a few days, then the network went down, and I guess it didn't go. So, apologies for the delay. I was sad to read Rob's comment about no longer attending common dinners because of noise. This is an issue that concerns many groups, and we've had various suggestions before. Our group is appraching again the discussion of ways to moderate the noise. I am wondering, Rob (or others) if there has been any luck with expectations of a quiet time at dinner? We tried that for a while, and it helped briefly, i think, but eroded. Any ideas for ways to remind people? We hope to do something with the ceiling, but don't know when.
