I still occaisionally attend dinners, but later, mostly after the high
energy has left, and not to eat, just to hang out and talk. So I just don't
eat there.

This is MY trip, I was raised in a small family, where dinners were quiet,
medatative times. The loud, boisterousness of community dinner unsettles my
stomach, gives me indigestion. So I eat at home, then if I am feeling
socialable, I walk over to the commonhouse and chat with neighbors. I would
no more insist that the community run dinners to suit me than I would
anything else. Appartently the rest of the regulars don't mind the noise or
even find it stimulating. Differences.
