Cohousing-L Mailing List: removing members, heaven forbid

  The membership committee of Village Cohousing is now struggling with
developing a set of procedures for terminating cohousing membership if,
despite all previous efforts to mediate, worst should come to worse,
and a member needs to be asked to leave.  This is obviously a worst
case scenario, and one would hope it would never have to be used, but
if the situation should arise, it would be a whole lot better to have
thought about it ahead of time.
  Do other groups have something in place for dealing with this
situation?  Has anyone actually gone through the experience?  I have
to admit, it is rather hard to even think about.
