Cohousing-L Mailing List: Do you have a "Friends of" group?

We at River Rock Cohousing (fort Collins, under construction, a few units
still available!) are wondering if any other cohousing groups have any
sort of "Friends of [insert your cohousing group name here]" groups.  In
our case, there are former members (and maybe prospective members) that
for one reason or another (finances, timing, etc.) aren't currently unit
owners, but who want to be in touch with the community.  Things like
meals, childcare, gardening, etc. might be things that "Friends" could
participate in.  

Please let us know if there have been any situations such as this, formal
or informal, and what you have learned!
