dear folks,

startup groups might be interested in the text of a 'location preference 
survey' done by the greater hartford ct cohousing group.  all core members 
and friends filled it out, and once completed, a copy of the survey was 
returned to every member with each household's initials entered according to 
their preferences in each category.  it was a quick, and i hope even handed, 
way of making sure everyone's feelings about where to locate were heard.

of course the survey is tailored for our situation, a maximum 30 minute 
commute from hartford, but feel free to revise it for your needs.  if you'd 
like a formatted copy as a word document, please email me privately.
