Call for Co-housing Recipes

Hello! After only a few months living in newly built River Rock
Commons, I've found a large gap that needs to be filled. The only
simple and easy to understand cookbook for larger crowds is Moosewood
Cooks for a Crowd, and while it is lovely, it is not complete (and most
of us are probably getting tired of it).
Therefore, I am on a quest! I would like to compiled a cookbook of
recipes and writings from Co-housing groups and intentional communities
around the world. My goal is to have this ready to print by the end of
this year and to have at least 300 recipes. We have already compiled 10
- have a loooong way to go.

I want to collect *at least* one recipe from each co-housing group
(preferably more than one) to compile into an Cohousing and/or
Intentional Communities cookbook. This is a labor of love, not a labor
for profit. For each of those communities who submit something, you
will be able to get a copy of the book at whatever it costs me to get it
print (I have lots of love, not lots of money, sorry).

The recipes should be:

*for groups of 20-50
*pretty easy to prepare (we've got enough stress in co-housing already
:)
*emphasis on vegetarian meals
*also emphasis on healthy foods (unless it is to be in the dessert
category)
*good

The non recipe submissions could cover any (and more) of the following:

*Tips for feeding community groups
*Problems you or your community has run into
*design and set up the kitchen
*how to work six cooks into a 2-butt kitchen
*articles/clippings you found useful (I will try to track down the
author/pub for rights to reprint - although if you can do some
of that ahead of time it would be great!)
*ramblings on the art of cooking and the love of food
*what is the most valuable and used item in your community kitchen, why?

*what is the least
"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" & why?

Since most of you don't know me (although some will meet me this
weekend) I will warn you now:

I am stubborn and pig-headed and if I don't hear from your community, I
*will* call! Actually, I will probably send out postcards to all the
communities I can get addresses for (I wish we had a new Communities
Directory around here....)
