The Resource Center of the Americas ( http://www.americas.org ) is an organization here in Minneapolis that publishes (paper, email and www) a good calendar of events seen by a large number of local activist type folks. I'd like to announce the upcoming Celebration of Ten Years of Cohousing in the Twin Cities 11/4/00, ( see http://www.jimn.org/tccn ) in their newsletter etc. They do say that: We reserve [events listing] for nonprofit organizations that support our mission-developing and promoting a human rights response to globalization. Tho cohousing does not directly support this mission I think it is generally compatible and may support this mission indirectly. I think an announcement should be relevant somehow. Anyone think of a rationale? The range of events they do list can be seen by following the "Community" link on their web site. I have not approached them yet - wanted to think the mission question thru a bit first. Fred -- Fred H.
