I guess I wasn't clear about the information that I needed about car access
to a site. My question is - do other communities have homes that are not
accessible to cars & how do they maintain those homes without truck access?
Bellingham Cohousing is already built. We have to rebuild all our
pathways after equipment moving dirt broke them up. We don't need the pathway
drivable for emergencies or for the fire department - that has been met by
other ways. The drivable pathway would be for maintenance of the homes and
convenience for the people on the backside of the property. This pathway is
not large enough for large trucks only smaller pickups. One of the issues
may be a people issue - the pathway is in front of homes which are
surrounded by parking to access homes on the backside who have views of the
wetlands and not parking.
We have four homes still for sale - a 2 two bedrooms starting at $143,000
and 2 three bedrooms starting at $ 189,000. We have open houses every Sunday
from 11 AM - 3 PM. Or check out our website at www.bellinghamcohousing.org
