Please could you send urgently an approximation of your visitor numbers.
Governments and banks etc tend to need quantifiable data, so what i am
asking is for you to estimate how many visitors you have over say a
month, or year, and an estmate of the number of people in your
city/region.

On the records theme, quanitifiable data is one of the key resources I
identified in my research project to assist getting more cohousing
projects on the ground. I know it is a pain to keep records, but it is
one thing that WE can do to give the movement more credibility.

Thanks again.

We had about 100 folks visit the community sometime last June or July for an
Energy Star presentation. Energy Star is a local organization that promotes
energy efficient housing; our houses were all build to Energy Star standards
(they all passed the blower test Energy Star performs). One house has a
couple of solar panels on it.

We also get a lot of folks driving up our 1/3 mile driveway just to look
around- I'd guesstimate at least a dozen or so cars a day on weekends.

Lots of friends and family members drop by, but I have absolutely no idea how
many. Everyone wants to see the place, though.

These numbers will hopefully go up when we have an Open House/ bake sale/tag
sale (that's yard sale to you midwesterners) this October.

Sorry these aren't harder numbers, but nobody's bothered to keep count.

We are in Northampton, MA, with a population of about 32,000.
