How about Cohousing: My family of choice?  I like that better anyway.

Given what we (my community) are doing, that's a pretty accurate
description.  We'd use Heart Song Community: My family of choice, though.

Of course, I don't fear references to communes.  In fact, I've described
cohousing as a blend of the best aspects of communes combined with the best
aspects of private living.  We aren't interested in attracting people who
fear community.
