I just have a simple, yet exciting announcement to make. Equinox Cohousing (based in the Eastside Suburbs of Seattle, WA), which has been meeting for a year and a half, has acquired an option on a piece of land. This is a very exciting time for us. We somehow managed to find 9.5 acres of wooded land in the city of Redmond, WA, right on the border with Kirkland. The land is centrally located for ease of commute (a priority for several of us), yet has a wooded and secluded feel to it. In addition, since the land is in the Rose Hill neighborhood of Redmond, we've decided to change the name of our group from Equinox Cohousing to Rose Hill Cohousing, in order to make a better connection with our community at large. For more information, we have maps and pictures at: http://www.rosehillcohousing.org/ Now all we have to do is find several more members. The good news is that the City of Redmond appears very eager to work with us on this project. So wish us luck, John Dietz johnd [at] purplebear.com Rose Hill Cohousing, Redmond, WA _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe and other info: http://www.communityforum.net/mailman/listinfo/cohousing-l
