One thing I like and was very specific about when I was looking for a group, is that I wanted a large group. At one point a group I was looking at was thinking about just doing a 5-6 household group and I that was not what I wanted. I would find it claustrophobic. Although our large meetings are perhaps too large, there is ample opportunity to engage with people in smaller teams or interest groups. And I like walking into the commonhouse and seeing both people I talked to every day this week and others I haven't even seen in two weeks. I also like knowing that at this very minute some people are getting together discussing aspects of the community that I don't need to discuss. In a small group, that doesn't happen.
